Ghostbusters! Slimer Nail Art | Halloween Glow in the Dark Nails

Hi Everyone!

Today we have the absolute perfect design for your Halloween nails! Steffi paints Slimer from Ghostbusters and makes it glow in the dark!! You could take this design for your main nail and paint the lazer from their guns on the rest of the nails to make it seem as though he's getting captured.

Steffi starts out by painting a layer of Snow White onto the nail and she then sugars the neon green glow in the dark pigment on the top of this to give you a good base colour for Slimer, Steffi cures this under the lamp and brushes away an excess with a dusting brush. To make sure the base is nice and even to paint on top of Steffi paints a layer of Matte Coat on top of the pigment and cures.

Steffi then paint the outline of Slimer onto the nail using Serious Black and a fine detail brush and cures this before filling in the mouth with Purple Reign and the tongue with Cover Story. Once cured Steffi goes back in and paints the gums using Heart Breaker, his teeth with Snow White, adds highlights with Hazard! and fills in his eyes with the same colour.

To finish Slimer off Steffi paints a bold outline around his tongue using black gel polish and adds his pupils in. She then moves onto the background and paints a nice layer of Violet Fizz and cures this. For a bit of added extra Steffi takes base coat and white gel and uses these on an ombre brush to add a smokey effect to the background. Everything is then coated with a good layer of top coat for the high shine and to seal it all in.
