Halsey Announces New Beauty and
Cosmetics Brand, about-face.
On January 4, Halsey announced that
she was launching her own direct-to-consumer
beauty brand, about-face. .
The brand is currently available
for preorder and will launch three different
lines on January 25: face, lip and eye. .
The products are entirely vegan-made and
range in price from $17 to $32. .
On Twitter, the 26-year-old singer-songwriter
wrote that about-face was inspired by her
own self-taught makeup journey.
many of you know ive done my
own makeup for a long time ... I’ve been
doing makeup for myself for most of
my career (even as far as SFX!), Halsey, via Twitter.
Halsey said that “every detail” of the brand
was made by her and that it culminated into the
“cool makeup” she wished she had as a kid. .
it’s special to me bc I’m not just the
face of some company. I’m the Creator,
the Head Makeup Artist ... every detail
of this from shade names, to product
ingredients, to packaging was me, Halsey, via Twitter.
According to the brand’s website, about-face
is meant to “celebrate every version of us.” .
