Scream Movie Inspired Nail Art ???????? | Acrylic Stiletto Halloween Nails

Hi Everyone!

Julia pulls out a classic for today's video, this design comes from everyone's favourite 90's horror franchise Scream. This set features the ever famous Ghost Face mask, a clever stiletto nail turned knife and some gory blood drop and finger print nails.

This really has something for everyone, you could stick with the mask nail, a full set of print nails or the knife nails, you can even mix and match them differently.

Julia starts off with Skye's nails already prepped, tips applied and filed into a stiletto shape very fitting for halloween. She then takes clear acrylic and lays down a thin layer of this onto the middle finger to prevent any staining from the black that she will apply later. While that acrylic is drying she moves onto the other fingers and builds those nails out using Mega White, this is the perfect backdrop for the designs she has planned.

While the white nails are setting Julia builds the black nail out using Pure Black and then caps that in clear to give it added strength and to prevent from filing any of the colour away. She then files all the nails into shape using a 180 grit file, a fine sanding band and a ceramic bit before buffing over with a white sanding block and cleaning the dust away with some gel res on a lint free pad.

Now that the nails are filed and cleaned Julia paints the end of the pinky finger with Nirvana and cures before applying a coat of foil glue and some silver foil to create the knife. She then uses Serious Black to create the handle of the knife and adds a blood drip effect with the transparent jelly red.

The Ghost Face mask is blocked out onto the middle finger using Snow White and a detailing brush, this shape is cured and the eyes, nose and mouth details are added back in with black and a dotting tool. To finish this design off Julia adds some line details with Nirvana and her detailing brush.

Julia uses her finger a dabs it into Burlesque to add the finger prints to the other nails before going back into the Jelly polish to add the blood drops. To finish off the nails Julia applies a matte coat to the scream nail and a shiny coat to the rest for the ultimate halloween set.
