All eyes are on Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh, to see whether he will also give in to the demands of the Maoists to resolve the Collector hostage crisis, just like his counterpart Naveen Patnaik had done in neighboring Odisha last month. Time is running out for the government, with the Maoists who are holding the Sukma district Collector hostage ruling out any extension of the deadline for his release. This came even as they added more names to their swap list of jailed comrades.
